Dude! Visited the Petäjävesi Old Church, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It’s a wooden church from the 1700s that has not burned down. “All the others burned down, for one reason or another,” our guide informed us resignedly.
Last summer my wife and I visited a beautiful 11th-to-12th-century stavechurch in Norway with some gorgeous inlays (the bell tower and some other features are later additions)
I am 99% certain a church modeled after that was used in a horror flick I watched not long ago 🤔
I think one of the later Paranormal Activity movies. It wasn’t great so I don’t really remember but the church was definitely like that.
