I can’t understand it either. We frequently hear about layoffs, publications shuttering, etc. Trump voters are not nearly a majority in this country. Trump would do NOTHING for them and they know that. They just smugly think they’ll be ok. Idk who they’ve made deals with but they don’t work for us.

That might be it, print media is dying and their current market skews old, as do Trump supporters, so it could be they're grasping at that last bit of income stream before it all collapses.
