Perfect response to the same question I was asking in my heart. Alfred and you are right, of course. We’re only asking the question because we love your run (and Bruno Redondo’s and so many other talented creators) so much. Nightwing has soared to such joyous heights, we want it to last forever.

I'm overthinking the metaphor here, I get it. But the metaphor reads differently if you imagine traveling forward or traveling upward. If I'm going up and I fall back down to where I started, do that often enough and it's Sisyphus. If I'm going forward and I fall, I get up to go forward again.

It’s fair. But I think it’s also fair to say we want to see a beloved character succeed. When our lives fail in a real fall, having that bit of escapism is a welcome friend.
