It would interesting to get a sampling from them of the day they thought the pandemic ended and why?

This "pandemic" ended for me on the day I learned when the 1918 Spanish flu (H1N1) stopped killing people. (It hasn't.) I think of it like the acceptance phase of grief. COVID is never going away or going to "end", but not everyone is ready to acknowledge that. Everyone's on their own timeline here.

For many people, especially anyone keeping track of death counts or aware of their own health risks, the pandemic has NOT ended. In the US alone, we lose ~1000 people weekly to a preventable illness.

most people witha clue have a realisation, that it;s yet another pandemic which has become endemic and will be forgotten by those not disabled or killed by it

I wouldn't describe it as the day the pandemic "ended", but in Belgium it was clear that a third wave was coming in december/january 2020-21 and the government stopped even pretending to care. That's when I really felt like we were fucked.
