I got harassed by security just trying to walk (not ride) my bike to the porta johns. I can't speak for everyone but this is not an experience I would want even when I'm shit faced at 2 AM. Usually I just want to go home but that's hard when the buses stopped running an hour ago

Hard disagree on this one, especially the line "And it doesn’t rely on the presence of law enforcement to operate." Half the people there are cops! If it truly is a giant drunk tank then it's no wonder people don't want to hang out in what's basically an open air jail
