Yeah i figured it was like that. They're good dogs but i'll never have one because i don't want a walking vet bill & it seems cruel for them to suffer their whole lives. My aunt had a pug & it was a very loving dog but its eyeballs fell out & everything. Why do we do this??

I have extremely little reason to be on twitter anymore. I try to make the algorithm show me what i want, but all i see is the same bots, bigots, & ads i keep blocking. So i only have notifs on for 5 people & don't look at my timeline anymore.

We even had a discussion in one of my classes one day about how so many of their generation became the things they protested against in their youth. I am hoping they carry this realization with them elsewhere and remember it when voting.

Yeah. A majority of my customers/students are boomers so over the years I've learned to present info in ways that make them want to know more & it helps them overcome cognitive dissonance. It's weird that most of them have critical thinking skills but don't examine the important stuff as much.

I've been keeping this in mind as i interact with others to see what happens. At work we had to set a boundary w the only regular male "volunteer." I told him repeatedly if he kept telling the owner (a very capable woman) how to run her business, she would make him leave & i was right.

For sure. I have a minor in Ancient Civ and 1 thing we learned repeatedly was what you said above & that a difference they do find a lot is female fossils have more wear & tear from repeated motion/endurance activities than the males do. So they did have some differences but labor was still shared.

Yeah evolutionary factors make a big difference. Also sense of smell seems to be different sometimes. I have saved lives smelling things no one else could smell lol but my wife can't smell anything 😅

You know what's funny, after my wife went through hormone therapy and surgery, she was much more able to find things than before. But also i think a lot of times when people rely on others to do/find things for them, their ability to do it on their own diminishes somewhat.

He went to look, couldn't find it, told his wife (my friend) it wasn't there. She went to look and it was there in front, but on the second shelf!! Like...?? How?
