Yes, exactly. I'm left of both Harris *and* Biden, but the whole *point* of our system of government is that we're supposed to find ways to make consensus work. That applies to finding a candidate to represent your party, and then applies to choosing an actual president.

Yeah, and there are all sorts of reasons for that, and some of them are really upsetting and gross, racism and misogyny being chief among them. But also, part of it is that a good VP just puts their nose down and does the work. Biden did that for Obama. Harris is doing it for Biden.
