Ah okay I see, but other people likely tweeted some of the articles that were your 'controls'?

Looking at the correlation between Altmetric score and citations would get at the question more directly and would allow for a larger sample size but doesn't seem like it would produce a dramatically different result?

So the metric of whether the article received Twitter attention was based on if you tweeted the article? Wouldn't Altmetric be a better way to test for a correlation between tweets as reported by Altmetric vs. citations? The control articles were presumably tweeted by others?

Happy New Year! After 10 years of research diving at the GalΓ‘pagos Islands with the Charles Darwin Research Station, I saw my first whale shark! You can see the video on Twitter – looks like we're limited to photos on here for the moment. All the best for 2024!

The new UNEP emissions gap report includes a chapter focusing on carbon dioxide removal.

It has a neat figure highlighting the feasibility, scalability, ease of MRV, environmental consequences, public perception, cost, and permanence of CDR pathways: www.unep.org/resources/em...

Publishing #openaccess costs $$$

Charges (APC) range from $1K in FACETS to $11K in Nature

Which journals give the most bang for your buck for impact factor?

I developed the cost per unit impact indicator to help choose zenodo.org/record/8408325
