Saying 'Gender Criticism' is just a belief is no different to saying 'White Supremacism' is just a belief. No exclusionary belief has a place in a civilised society. The correct word would be bigotry. 'Gender Criticism' is bigotry. 'Gender Critics' are bigots.

An aunt asked me "will you get the surgery?" publicly, at a crowded birthday party. So I answered truthfully. And then I asked her about her labia. She was kinda shocked, as was everyone else so I asked: "Oh I'm sorry, is that none of my fucking business?" It hasn't come up since.

Luckily in the UK film is quite well supported and apparently much lower cost than the US. When looking for labs it seems quite a few are queer friendly or even openly queer run.

Love film photography too, but i'm no where near as professional as you. I just enjoy the taking of pictures on film, sending it away and waiting in trepidation for the scans/photos. I recommend those who've never shot film to give it a try.
