There are a LOT of white families enjoying astonishing levels of multi-generational privilege in this country. Every single one of them LOVES the nepotism conversation to stay centered around a handful of black athletes who recently attained any privilege at all.

Yeah, there might be a sweet spot in the middle there, I dunno. I only had, and worked on, a few makes and models over the years, and I’m hardly an expert. But I do prefer fuel injectors over carburetors, etc., in the grand sweep of things, even though it’s all black box now.

Yeah, I’ve driven cars as old as model year 1971 and cars as new as 2024. Well-made cars are drastically more robust today than ever before.

I can bear witness from far too much first-hand experience: people with privilege are extremely reluctant to give away the slightest piece of it. Privileged liberals are just as bad as any Trump voter, they just lie to your face and squeal like pigs when made uncomfortable about any of it.

Movie business and music business were always run by sketchy people. But those businesses thrived for a hundred years. I’d love to have it all back. What we have now ain’t anything at all.
