justice for Amber Tuccaro, whose disappearance was treated so lightly by police that they released a press statement saying she was fine. her remains were found two years later and her case remains unsolved, despite her recording her killer's voice.

UK, Late 70s/early 80s, a woman was killed and the cops called her a prostitute. Then it happened again and the cops did it again. Investigation was narrowed to only prostitutes. Thirteen women later the killer was caught, quite by chance, and it later came out that many victims weren't prostitutes.
