Maybe, but if there's no accepted way for you to control and profit from those rights, you can expect them to continue to be stolen from you. The whole point of creating an AI rights scheme is to enable creators to have a voice in the process.

Yeah, but negotiating a deal with the thief that's stealing your stuff is not how the law is supposed to work. Nor is there any reason to believe that thieves will respect the deal. Esp when AI corps have already said it's impossibly expensive to license the data they want. Not hopeful. 😥

So we just ignore that they've already acted in bad faith, yippee. They're already getting sued. . Either we work to stop them now or we again act like they're the only ones who have any power. negotiating with them now is telling them that what they did is okay.
