To be fair, if you already fully agree with something someone said, there isn't much left to say. If you disagree, there's something to contribute to the discussion.

why does a differing opinion have to mean a disagreement? we can all freely state what feels like fact or truth to us without feeling the need to superimpose our thoughts on others. it's different if mis-stating a fact and being corrected, but even that shouldnt be contentious.
