I was trying to teach the kid a word and successfully got him to say the word “shoe” while pointing at his, but then he let loose a blood curdling scream as though he had become beset by the horrors of knowledge

Went and had a caffeinated soda way too late since it’s a holiday thinking “this won’t keep me up too late” and now here it is, too late, with my dang brain thinking all these thoughts. Stuff it, brain. It’s supposed to be sleep time.

The chicken was passable, the texture was fairly good! Not perfect but I’ll probably use it again. That corn/wine/mustard cream sauce though, came out absolutely phenomenal.
