Camp can definitely be a lot of fun, and this movie wasn't "bad" in the way that something polished but generic and soulless like the Mamoa remake was. It's a decent adventure movie, just a letdown as a sequel.

My biggest disappointment? The Fisher King. I didn't dislike it, necessarily, but it's long been a Holy Grail (ha) on my "need to watch" list, and...it was just okay?

What I found most interesting is how even the quality was across the years. My top ten has films from 9 different decades. (The Godfather and Chinatown were both from the 70s.) My bottom ten has 8 decades and the 70s again leads with 3 of the worst movies.

Of the 94 films watched, I enjoyed most of them. I guess the deck was a bit stacked since most of these are well-regarded movies from their years.

Of the movies that rank under 2 stars, by far the least pleasant was Under the Silver Lake.
