As the article explains, it means that if you post a link to "netflitwitter.com" it will appear in the iOS app as "netflix.com" - "twitter" anyplace within a url is replaced to read "x" - but will still send anyone who clicks it to "netflitwitter.com". Was available, could have been used to phish.

The good news is that, if I understand it, all links will still function normally ("twitter" is replaced only in the version the app shows to a person reading it, the link is actually unchanged). The bad news is that there's a lot of opportunities for mischief. Also, it just looks pathetic.
