Isn't this one of those powers that can be neutered by SCOTUS decree? If so, someone start a clock to see how long it stays in effect.

It's confusing to me that this didn't happen in the 1930s.

Sure this might save a few hundred lives, but think of the shareholder value this might destroy! Think of all the yachts not bought. All the homes downgraded from 6,000 to 4,000 sq ft. So many big beautiful jobs just lost in instant.

The new paradigm is OSHA proposes safety rules and corporate lawyers crumple up the paper those proposals are written on to play trashketball.

Texas and Florida are no doubt already filing multiple lawsuits to get the courts to rule this is unconstitutional. Welcome to the Post-Chevron world. OSHA has NO teeth anymore. Worker safety means nothing to any of the MAGA states. I'd like to hear Roberts lie about this one.

Just another pro-peasant rule that the Supreme Court will get rid of.

Didn’t OSHA just have its balls clipped by SCOTUS?

It doesn't matter. Some right wing judge will decide they're experts in hyperthermia and decide that forcing people to work is fine as long as the temperature is less than 200 degrees.

Sure these guys are experts but who cares, what does some judge have to say?

Apparently you might as well give up OSHA. You no longer have any influence. Thank you Supreme Court
