Not an animal behaviorist, but big on dog safety. ERs see dog bites all the time, and the biting dog is usually a dog you know. Last time I heard of a dog grabbing someone’s arm, it was a rescue Akita, and the victim (a local attorney - lawsuits ensued) suffered permanent injuries. Please be safe.
