I recently watched it for the first time, and outside of a couple things I picked up through cultural osmosis (riding the bomb lol) I didn't know what to expect but was absolutely blown away by it. It just completely kicks ass and feels way more contemporary than I expected.

How long was the dog there? I get charging more rent for a pet owner, "additional wear and tear" etc But like how long did Reddit OP leave their service dog behind that the landlord was aware of it and saw fit to charge a fee to the tenant? Landlords are greedy, but also lazy and not around much.🫣

I think the Reddit OP wanted their friend to look after their "service dog" and the Reddit OPs friend was charged a fee by their landlord for having a dog in the apartment long term. That's what I gather having not seen the original Reddit post.

I put the screen time widget on my phone's home screen and was so embarrassed after one day that I put a bunch of parental controls on myself and installed an e-reader app. The house is still a mess, but at least I'm reading books not Twitter..?

I see it a lot in Canadian politics. People were mad the liberals privatized something, so they gave the conservatives a huge majority parliament. Which is counterproductive if you think privatization is bad. People just get mad and don't engage beyond that. 😞

Consoles are fuckin trash. They insist on never shutting down then they yell at you because the power went out while they were in standby mode. Then you fire it up and MANUALLY check for system updates, update, restart. Then you put a game in and it needs a SYSTEM UPDATE too.
