And, there are probably instructions in the owner’s manual (or manufacturer’s web site) on how to start the car until you can replace the battery. Replacing the battery can be fiddly and I do *not* recommend doing it while sitting in the driver’s seat, but it is DIY.

If you are ever locked out ofa car with keyless entry with a dead remote battery, there probably is still 1 mechanical lock on the outside and a key hidden inside your fob. Now would be an excellent time to google for instructions on your model and practice removing this key.

My brother and I are both childless. One time he leapt up from his chair on the patio because the neighbor’s very loud children were squealing with glee. “Those are happy squeals.” I said. I had spend many more hours with children than he had.

Anyone have a favorite herbal tea blend that does *not* contain cinnamon, lemongrass, or peppermint? (Or green tea or black tea. My husband needs to cut caffeine, and dislikes those 3 very common ingredients.)

Some employees who grew up in cricket-playing countries attempted a cricket league at work. My department fielded a team even though we only had 2 women who had ever played…in PE….in *middle school*. Apparently social cricket does not have a mercy rule. It needs a mercy rule.

Our vet uses a service that delivers the remains after you pay them over the phone. One time we got 24 hour service. I don’t think it’s an industry that should strive for 24 hour service.

While the ice cream machines at McDonald’s are a national joke, they seem to be the only place that has slushy machines up and running on hot summer days. Having lived in a place without 7-11s for 2 decades, I appreciate this.

After they fixed the mapping for ordering the installation, the fiber got hooked up, and the installer discovered that he couldn’t activate anything because we didn’t exist in that computer system. (At 4 pm. On a Friday.)

We reached a point where AT&T fiber was available everywhere else in our neighborhood, but we couldn’t request installation. It was a mapping error. There was a physical box to attach it to, but our address was not coded as being covreed.
