We also give them a tiny portion of wet food twice a day. Gerald gets his on a “lickimat” to slow him down. It’s brought much peace to the household, as Willie is a pokey eater and Gerald would hover over him and disturb his sacred mealtime, but is now occupied trying to get every last morsel.

Those lickmats are glorious. I had to get one to slow my dog down and stop her from throwing up because she ate too fast, and it has worked out greatly.

😂 ours are equally fast eaters, fortunately. We have a security camera trained on their food bowls, so we’ll be able to make sure no one is scarfing all the food
