Not really! He gets antsy sometimes, but hasn’t quite figured out when it’s time. Mind you, we portion it out in very small quantities, so food is delivered about six times a day.

We also give them a tiny portion of wet food twice a day. Gerald gets his on a “lickimat” to slow him down. It’s brought much peace to the household, as Willie is a pokey eater and Gerald would hover over him and disturb his sacred mealtime, but is now occupied trying to get every last morsel.

We had to get an automated feeder last year when we realized how quickly he was gaining weight. It’s been great, though: I like that the delivery system and ME are two different entities now. I have NOTHING to do with the food arriving. It’s an act of god.

Then you have problems reading. I am not “sensitive” to the word abortion—I’ve been part of the movement for quite a while, and embrace the word. I also understand that someone who is elated to be pregnant/losing a wanted pregnancy doesn’t deserve a lecture in semantics while they are in crisis.
