I get this, but other than the 4th liners (who seem like they might not be that much better than the kids in Hershey), I'm kinda stoked on all of these moves. Hard to argue that these moves make the team worse, right?

Honestly don't hate it. Fresh start for Kuemper and PLD could work for both players, but there's definitely disaster potential. Net saving of $4-5 million on a backup goalie is a win, and the Caps need talent up front. PLD bounce back isn't a terrible bet, he couldn't be much worse than last year.

Agree with pretty much all of this. I don't really expect the Caps to be anything other than a bubble playoff team at best for the foreseeable future. They need to be good enough to keep Ovi happy and scoring, but not sure how they can acquire the high end talent they need without actively tanking.

Our dog has digestive issues and recurring ear infections too. Tried prescription dog food for a while, but the results were meh. Did an allergy test, showed a sensitivity to storage mites. Recommendation was to freeze food in an airtight container to kill mites before serving, maybe helped a bit.

Me too! Now to wait 5+ years for the roundabout to be built... Traffic calming on Ashby is really needed. There was a failed effort to petition for speed cushions within the last year or so, but didn't get the required % of residents to sign.

Agreed, 100% trade Lindgren if someone is willing to give back crazy return. He's already 30 so it's not like they're giving up on some young star (and I'm betting hard on a regression of some sort after a career season). Kuemper is fine, especially if you aren't convinced that the Caps can contend.

Agreed on basically all counts. What's your feeling on Carbery? Lots of optimism among Caps fans about him it seems, but the Caps were kinda Jekyll and Hyde all year. Much of that is personnel, but I still need to see more from SC before I'm ready to canonize the guy...
