That was my guess! Would honestly love a coffee table book of uk video game mag covers from the 90s. Loads of 2000AD artists and other comics luminaries did 'em. Simon Bisley, Glenn Fabry, Dermot Power, Kevin O'Neill, etc...

Yeah, I'm sure mining Fritz Lang or something like that could be kind of interesting, I'm just not sure how much it would feel like Hellboy. I mean, even in the comics, as great as, e.g. Corben and Fegredo are, it never feels as true to the character as when Mignola is at the reins

I feel like adapting Hellboy to live action is a fool's errand. Mignola's draughtsmanship is fundamentally graphic in nature; it relies on linework and tonality (not to mention his pacing and composition) that you cannot replicate in live action without basically making a cartoon

I do enjoy unlocking stuff (because I am a rat in a maze doing tricks for dopamine), but it seems like the thing to do is just have an option under accessibility settings that lets you unlock everything if you want. I've seen a few games do that, and it struck me as a good idea

I am in the extreme minority of people who bounced off Hades hard, so I'm going to say Slay the Spire, 5000% Other roguelikes I'd recommend: FTL, Dicey Dungeons, or Slice & Dice for more strategic games, and Atomicrops, Spelunky, Nuclear Throne, and Binding of Isaac for more arcadey games.

Not to be that guy, but Polytopia is a genuinely fun 4x lite type of game, and the PTW aspect is minimal. Musk is a cretin, obvs, but I feel like his interest in this game obscures the fact that it's actually a lot fun if you fancy a quick Civilization-alike
