I find the most direct link of a band being washed-up has-beens is if their lyrics about current issues make you cringe. The songwriting is decidedly flat and uninspired most of the time with no passion and full of bitterness.

This makes a lot of sense now Me and my direct family are white as can be, but I'm only one of a few that actually like spicy. My dad can't handle much but I've seen him chop up jalapenos into things he cooks and it turns out edible to him. It's so bizarre how underwhelming they are.

Caught this brown anole in the warehouse. Didn't think I could, but she got caught up in some slippy plastic sheet covers and I dropped her into a container. They're not a native anole species in Florida, but their arrival was inevitable since their native range is the Caribbean just to the south.

Idk how popular this metal take is but I think high pitched vocals are good. It's easier to mess up, it's not easy, but it offers versatility and can carry into singing or talking cleanly. Some can't take it seriously but a raspy, venomous, and screechy voice offers it's own fiendish personality imo

Little tropical-ish low north of me, been getting rain bands this past week from this thing meandering it's way to the coast. Not very strong, too poor of conditions for development, but has nice rain-free circulation. Interesting start to hurricane season.
