It's clearly within the 'official capacity' of the executive, so Biden himself would be immune from harm. Take each and every case all the way to SCOTUS. Roughly half will be decisions the majority doesn't like, so they'll have to take hundreds of cases to do what they want.

Biden should instruct the EPA to essentially ignore Loper Bright v Riamudo and continue to make administrative interpretations of congressional acts as they have in the past. Let everybody sue and litigate every case. If SCOTUS wants to decide administrative cases we'll let them, one at a time.

Peripheral to your post: Whilst travelling we happened upon St Mary's Basilica in Olean NY. It's a pretty place. There's a carport/shed in back that contains a life sized, realistic, crucifix. So, 'Jesus Christ in a Carport' is now part of our lexicon.

"Basic Service" is a UK term. for In the US is it's "flight following" It's given to (usually small private) aircraft that are responsible for their own separation. The pilot radios ATC and says, 'hey, I'm here, I'm going there, can you let me know if you know of anything dangerous on my way?'

My only advice is this: The first rule of wine drinking is never drink wine when you're thirsty. Drink a couple glasses of water first. Also, that's 1/3ish of a bottle per day and reds will be good for several days after opening, so just having a glass per day is fine.

We went to Cripple Creek CO (elev 9495) last week. My wife has never had trouble in Santa Fe but above about 8500 has issues. We use a canned oxygen product from a co called oxygenplus dot com that gives her temp relief. A couple hits every ten min or so does wonders.

Thanks! This is kinda what I'm hoping for. We only need our second car less than 1% of the time right now. It's currently loaned out to a neighbor. If the e-bike does what I expect we can give up the car. Better for my health and better for earth.

Do you have thoughts on e-bikes? I'm considering one to replace our backup car. It would be used for recreational riding plus occasional grocery/pharmacy runs and miscellaneous errands with little need for cargo.

The Baltimore Orioles have returned! We've been putting oranges out for them for several days now and finally today one boy (might have been two different boys) showed up. #birds 🦉They're migrating through but will often hang out for a week or two and take advantage of the easy food.

Saw a white throated sparrow today, a first for me. I've heard it for 3-4 days and knew it was a new bird for us, but couldn't spot it until today, when it kindly sat on the neighbors gutter and sang for us.

I was an adult before I ever had spinach that wasn't from a can. Fresh spinach steamed with a few drops of rice wine vinegar. The difference was transformative. I went from hating spinach to loving it in one meal.

Food and beverages. We get better food in far greater variety than ever before. Same for beer, wine, and spirits. Even in small towns we can find fresh food from several different cultural perspectives and in cities the fusion and experimentation continue. Beer choices, including NA keep improving.

Convective clouds will dissipate during an eclipse. They rely on the sun's heat to exist, so as the eclipse nears totality the heat goes away and so do some of the clouds. Also, take a jacket because the temp will drop a lot for a few minutes.
