yeah online is great and whenever you hear people banging on about how "the internet isn't real life you know" it's usually because they're mad that the kids are telling each other not to let their labour be exploited or something like that

a lot of people think they're really progressive or whatever, but when they see other people doing "more", they aren't happy or want to join in, they feel threatened.

It’s a genuine lifeline, esp when you’re isolated and skint and have mental health. And just talking with your friends is good, it’s good for you and them, like not everything positive is measurable on a spreadsheet
