In looking up reviews i learnt an old name for the ancient trope wherein characters are written into real-life events, "We Were There." Tho in this case, it appears these took place during WWI, written while the war was still going on, and for the first few books before the US had joined the war

Soemtimes i post pixel art and one of the fun things about that is how tiny the files can be as PNGs. Twitter does check files to see if they'd be smaller as a JPEG, if it isn't it leaves em be. Most of the time, it always was inscrutible and in a constant state of flux

I think that they just didn't ask an artist or photographer or graphic artist or anyone who knows what a JPEG is before setting up their system. They also clearly never regularly read tumblr screenshots, or comics, you begin to wonder for what exactly they used social media

My father would refer to this is cat-flattening weather. If you got more than a couple ice packs and the flooring is water-resistant, you can leave em on the floor then nudge them after a while, leaving a cold spot for laying.

I was able to hang on to that healthy 4-noon schedule for probably the last time in my life last year, then i go and get a job with normal hours and i cannot sleep past nine now. Tho maybe that will change again come the fading light

Someone i know predicted this, that huge wiper must take a lot of current to start. There's a reason monowipers are always on those complex pivots. Mostly because that allows them to cover more of the windshield but also so it's easier on the motor.

Well for the type of car i am used to, it will absolutely let you hold the brake and accelerator at the same time and it'd be silly to think it wouldn't, but for a modern car that locks the doors when you go over 15 mph, such a thing would be trivial to install
