You can actually argue it helps. Main problem with fishing is nets not catch and release fishermen which can actually promote more respect and admiration for ocean which would reduce consumption. In a similar way Scuba diving while directly damaging is an incredible net positive on ocean health.

Also the vibe for such type of celebrity beefs just doesn't exist anymore. We all known this is just rich ass grown babies role playing. The only real value here would be the entertainment through creative burns or some social commentary but that's not a very successful case here I'm afraid.

I code with llms every day and use perplexity as my search. Github copilot is legit awesome even when it's broken or wrong sometimes on average its a net boost. The ability just to pair program with AI or use it as a "rubber duck debugger" is an incredible productivity boost!

That's not how AI content detection works. OpenAI injects a statistical fingerprint into generated content by prefering some synonyms or phrases over others - it has nothing to do with text comprehension. There's probably more mechanics that aren't publicly known yet too.

Bluesky didn't address any discovery concerns and launched - unsurprisingly people are leaving as the core base currently is very opionated (read toxic) and the only discovery mechanism (feeds) are still sub part to every other option out there.

Blue Sky community is one of the weirdest and most toxic online places I've seen. There are feeds which is mostly nice, cool people talking about common shared interests and then there's literally nuclear swamp right next to it with some of the most deranged human beings that clearly need help ๐ซฃ
