Just had to get a hardy hibiscus this year. The color tone is overwhelming the camera, but parked where it is visible from the couch and we can't ignore it. Gonna enjoy it here for a while before deciding on a permanent location.

I was enthusiastic about the freestyle machines because they are the only option to give a variety of sugar AND caffeine free drinks. My flip-phone carrying dyslexic spouse would have a meltdown.

Eclipse day, s8nce we live on the edge of the totality,, we drove about 1 1/2 hours into the zone to be sure we were there for the whole enchilada. The full one was at totality, but the light of the corona filled in the center, it was taken without a filter, and the camera survived.

We got everything planted and potted before the end of the month, as well as pulling all the indoor plants outside. Got the veggies planted except for one bed with brassicas going to seed. When they're done we'll fill it with okra & beans. Tis the season to be hopeful.

It is a prettier spring than last year, when we had severe winter damage. The azaleas were here when we moved in Aug 1999, we planted the lilac that fall. We lost a few azaleas last year, but still have 8 or 9 of various sizes.

When riding is in doubt, the next question is how well do they pull? All parts attached to them would need to be metal not leather or wood, but not much is going to stand up to a battle wagon fronted with a dragon.

Good for you. I kept mine in for a couple years, which in my case helped with blood draws, until the flushing was more often than any use of it. Install & removal was under local anesthesia, which was a little weird

My sister and I were coming back from Oregon. Put the insulated bag of Tillamook cheese blocks in my carry-on. They had to wipe down the inside & outside of bag, as well as each block of cheese. Don't think it was even first time that day

Well, we've had warmer weather than usual, but this time last year the peach trees were in full bloom. Gardening fever isn't quite as strong as last year. I did get some seed starting done. I've been staring at the seed packets the better part of a month. Eggplant, tomatoes, peppers, & herbs are in

Baking today. Spiced bread with dried fruit, walnuts, cranberries, & candied ginger. Baked in 2 shapes, only sweetener was honey to feed the yeast
