You're right about it being a professor at the same university (I got confused because of the CSU Long Beach professor in the mix) and parts of my timeline were muddled. But I don't think that makes the situation much less unsettling because those weren't the unsettling details of the case.

As for the screenshot you posted, there isn't any information in the article that really substantiates that accusation beyond a post the made on linkedin that doesn't seem to violate any university policies. I find this all very strange.
