Yes I agree. I should say that from the start I also felt that Starmer doesn't understand this issue - he knows "antisemitism is bad" but it's vague and he's following scripts. Unlike Lisa Nandy, whatever one thinks of her politics, she showed instinctive understanding of racism which he lacks.

The end result is very poor - Labour expelled lots of people, some of them deserved it. But if the aim was to educate people - they failed.
