That is rough! I work in nursing homes, too. Residents frequently think I'm their son, husband, friend, etc. I just go along with it. The smile and joy on their face is heartwarming. Trying to explain "reality" won't do any good. Either way, they will forget, so why not bring them some happy?

They may be worth a bit, however eBay makes many things nigh to worthless. I checked, from $18 to $65 USD each on eBay. I've sold some very unique things on eBay, not worth it! Best things I ever sold were ❤️ shaped rocks my son picked up on a gravel road. I got $100 USD per 10 rocks. 🙄 Rocks!

Perhaps they can, we could all use that! I've been lucky, to me those things are like something I saw at a movie theater, I went, I saw, I grieved, but when I left, I left it at the theater. Makes sense in my head.

Do the lights plug into an AC adapter via a USB connector? If so, you can use a battery pack, like one from Anker, to run the lights.
