The only hint of money in my family is my wife's grandfather who did pretty well due himself. Unfortunately, he squandered most of it on crypto schemes before his kids realized what was happening and put an end to it.

Evidently the only wealthy relative I have no longer speaks to us bc my relatively broke parents didn't split grandma's house with him after they did (horrific) Alzheimers care for her (+ she left it to them) Relative in question has at least two houses/my parents have lived on donations since 93
