While Wendy’s plans to price gouge you with Uber-style surge pricing, it’s simultaneously enriching wealthy shareholders with a $500 million stock buyback program. That’s the thing about corporate greed: It’s shameless. They’ll just keep pushing to see how far they can go.

The $32, pot of coffee that serves 2 cups that I bought at a posh hotel in Europe in 1985 is all Biden’s fault. Glad we cleared that up as I always thought it was price gouging 😂

It’s already cheaper to go to my local mom & pop teriyaki joint, get stir fry, rice, teriyaki chicken, soup & tea that gives me leftovers for 2 days than it is to eat at a fast food place.

Yeah but have you ever made your own rice flour/starch? Soak for 24 hrs, blend & strain. Add more water and let it sit undisturbed till the starch settles. Pour off the clear water and then dry the starch on a sheet or mat. You now have rice starch to make rice cakes, etc.

I’m a bit nervous about them being bright because years ago I made about 50 hats for the homeless & some lady got nasty with me on facebook because “homeless hate bright colors”. Guess it’s easier to yell at random strangers than actually do something to help 🙄😜

Every night lately, I’m making a hat from scraps too small to do much with. Once I work through all of my tiny ball of yarn, I’ll donate to the needy. This granny stripe pattern works up fast & accommodates random colors.

Remember last summer when I was picking veggies from my garden and canning tons of vegetable beef soup? I added barley tonight and it’s perfect for this cold arctic air. Although anything hot tastes good in cold arctic air. Summer’s bounty in winter ❄️ 🍲🥣🥰

PS, it’s no longer a hospital. It’s been a veterinary office, a hippie t-shirt store, a bakery, a skateboard shop, etc. My friend’s 80+ yr old mom grew up in the house next door, and knew all the details of when it was a hospital

He was insane! I’ll have to tell you a little known fact about him that I won’t post the location here, but where he had his vision in a 3 bed hospital when in the navy, that was where Scientology was born. I know the exact location. I don’t want Scientology turning it to a shrine.

When I was living in Europe, Dallas & Dynasty was big over there. They thought all Americans lived that way 😂 TV and Movies have messed up perceptions globally/culturally

Americans have forgotten what it was like back in the 70s when stores closed early and everything was closed on Sunday. Somehow we all managed to plan ahead and get things done, shop, etc. Then they go overseas and expect 24/7 service like it is here now.

Exactly! Americans freaking out when shops/pharmacies closing at 7pm. Yeah, in France people don’t work round the clock at slave wages. I used to dread American tourists and I’m American. It was so embarrassing how they acted.
