Not crazy about Terry Goodin as McCormick's Lt Gov pick, but I'll admit to having shared many of the views he's being criticized for earlier in my life. I'm ashamed, but I feel like I've evolved. Goodin says he has, too. By most accounts he's a decent man.

As for the horse race, I assume this is designed to get the DNC to spend some real money here. I doubt it'll work, but I could see Lincoln project type donors getting good mileage out of campaigning against Beckwith. He'd make a good villain for them to cast as the face of 2nd gen maga
