I'm kinda ambivalent about Biden staying in or dropping out, but one thing I know for sure is that Kamala is the *only* viable replacement, for a number of reasons. Talk of Newsom, Pritzker, or Whitmer stepping in is pure fantasy.

This is being framed as a power grab by the court, because they get to decide what's an official act. But the logical conclusion is an executive who can tell the courts to pound sand. Whatever power they've taken, they've immediately turned around and ceded to the executive.

This sucks. The one I go to employs HS aged kids who would be considered marginalized in a county that will probably go 70/30 for trump in Nov. Seemed like a welcoming and inclusive store. Probably headed for the private equity vultures soon enough now.

Not crazy about Terry Goodin as McCormick's Lt Gov pick, but I'll admit to having shared many of the views he's being criticized for earlier in my life. I'm ashamed, but I feel like I've evolved. Goodin says he has, too. By most accounts he's a decent man.

Both teams are limited to 20 overs. An over is six balls (pitches). So they only last 2.5-3 hours. There's different strategy because most teams hit the 20 overs before 10 of their batters are out. Sorry not really familiar with any resources. I'm a wikipedia man myself👍

I only really know the basics, but international cricket has traditionally been of the test match variety, where each team gets to bat twice, and can last up to 5 days, and they're usually played in series of 5. Yep. Willow TV has had a free preview (I think it ends today), and they're showing all the T20 world cup matches. It's too bad it's not easier to find, because the T20 format, plus the fact we're hosting, could really help cricket gain a foothold in the modern American sporting landscape.

I really like Morton's (and all the other comparable steakhouses), but a couple times a year is plenty. When I used to travel more we would end up at places like that a couple times a month, and even then, it got to the point I would literally rather eat at the Olive Garden.
