This annoys me in the "I am listing out all the groups I want to signal my approval of but what's even the deal w/ asexuality so ace people are valid is what I'll go with" context. It just feels lazy like we couldn't bother to learn what sort of affirmation would be valuable to this community

I ain't never seen "x group of marginalized people are valid" followed up with a nuanced understanding of what it means to live that experience or real allyship in how to support efforts to make life better for the group people are validating. Action, especially not just milquetoast words
