To me, the heart of WH40K is all the big shit. The dreadnaughts, the tanks, the terminator squads... but it takes a lot of space and time. Which means that when I get a chance to play usually I have forgotten the rules...

Right? Masses of well-painted infantry models that just get slaughtered turn 1 kind of feels like a lot of effort put in for nothing. But man I love me some Dreadnoughts and their Xenos equivalents.
