Actually, I feel like that's why I liked Blank Canvas more than any other "art series". Blank Canvas shows Akiko being lazy, annoyed with art, etc. but I feel like a lot of other art series show pure seriousness 100% of the time and it exhausts me. Akiko can be a little shit and I love her for it

One thing I will give Yowamushi is I understand WHY the kid is immediately good at biking. He's been biking for weeb merch on a crap bike for years before the series starts. I feel like a lot of other series are "I saw someone dance and awakened as a savant and copied them perfectly first time"

like, I feel like someone could say "I'd want to see a sailor moon with zero filler", and yeah, they'd also get like, zero character development, but I can see the need for Crystal. But RoV and LoGH were already perfect. New LoGH isn't bad, but in comparison to OG, it's alright

I honestly prefer the RoV anime to the manga in so many ways (and I typically prefer the manga versions, if they came first). But I feel this is more like LoGH, cus OG Sailor Moon had a ton of filler while RoV and LoGH were close adaptations.
