Woof, this kind of behavior sets my teeth on edge. Like, either it's a big deal (in which case, you tend to it in the moment, like an adult) or it's not (in which case, just don't bring it up). What is it with moms?!

I have a feeling she hurt herself the day before the trip and thought it was nothing. But then it turned into something (but not enough of something to navigate foreign language international healthcare). I'm going to be so angry with her if it's deep vein thrombosis though. She's in her 70s.
