Well... as someone who writes policy for work, I have definitely used the information people shared on social media to inform some of the work I do. so... And I know I'm not the only one. People are citing credible resources and the discussions are important. I've had chats with my representatives.

The in-progress pile includes a test re-make of my most beloved pants with IKEA canvas (I drew out the pattern via the old garment)... and I REALLY hope it works... because it's woodgrain print and I think it'll look supremely silly but also I just want more comfy pants (they're super wide leg)

So I'm excited to make things and my brain is beginning to cooperate meaningfully. .. and I'm starting with the mending/in-progress pile (but no ironing on hot days). oh. And I need to get some new patterns printed at the local print shop. (they have a plotter, it is wonderful but expensive)

I spent a good chunk of last summer sewing things (by hand, I couldn't handle noise, and i'm still sewing by hand) but had to stop thanks to migraines returning with full vengeance in the fall... and then my iron grew mould so everything hit pause.

I do captioning for a living, & a big part of my job is cleaning up false starts & filler words. That has always been the norm at every media outlet. Print media edits Trump so carefully that you would never know what he actually sounds like. Doing this to Biden is a 180 from decades of policy.

Wow! I'm glad you've got good doctors. I wish I could take cannabis but it interacts badly with my meds. Mostly i've had to learn how to handle the pain. Over 20 years, i've taught myself to fall asleep when it gets bad... (I've only been off work for 1.5)
