I’m disturbed that people in #edusky are blithely using AI.
Using AI to make yourself “more efficient” just means that you’re devaluing your own work.
What if you use that energy to unionize and fight for better pay and a lower workload.

Yep. There’s a whole ethical aspect that is being ignored, perhaps not even seen. I often (not always) get confused looks when I say I have huge ethical objections to AI, which have nothing to do with kids getting chat gpt to write their essays.

I’m not saying there is never a use for LLM’s, but this is a huge environmental catastrophe and very damaging to creatives.
