That is impossible in a capitalist society, unless no one ever has a pay rise ever again, there are never any scarcities of any commodity and.... etc. Why are you saying things about economic conditions which can be shown as demonstrably daft in about 3 seconds by non-economists?

(Note: I have a couple of Mr Krugman's books and he was a great inspiration to me whilst I was doing an MBA, in picking apart broadbased capitalist economic 'laws' in classes, much to the annoyance of my prof's, so I'm very far from a RW troll being annoying, it's more frustration, tbh)

Pay rises in line with productivity plus inflation, not inflation alone. You can still get wage rises in zero inflation.
