McDonald’s is ditching its drive-through AI ordering system after too many customers wound up with totally incorrect orders like a handful of butter, hundreds of chicken nuggets, and ice cream loaded with bacon

Well the country has become 300% more green (don't quote me on the maths, my head hurts) so that's probably to be expected!

"main man", good Gods! My migraine head types gibberish, which is then accentuated by spell 'correct'!

Aye. Incredibly, laid down in stone in the 1700's by the taxonomy maimam, Linneas.

(That s why we could interbreed). It always, amazes me when people say humans like Neanderthals 'died out'. No they didn't, they were fucked (or more likely raped) out. As we're all the others. They are in us, and we are them.

Neanderthals were humans. The differences in human species are in the semantics:
Genus = homo
Homo humanus - has been mooted as a broad term covering all human species
Homo Neandethalis, Homo Erectus, etc - all different historical, er, hominids, after Erectus are 'Homo' so part of the same family.

It disgusted me that in the 2 way debates, Starmer did not support immigration by pointing at Sunak's own parents/grandparents. It was an easy win, and a positive signal, that he did not take.

Absolutely right.
Unfortunately, the right to be able to drive in to other human beings at speed seems to be important to too many people.
For me, it's the parking. Parked cars reduce roads to single lane corridors, then drivers complain about cyclists. Words fail me!

I think what has actually happened is: classic white rock bands are boring as old shite, compared to the positive and/or angry energy coming from musicians who were previously ignored or marginalised by the music press. And fucking Coldplay headlined, so I don't know what he's complaining about!

I disagree. The Roses were making a unique sound which was at tes rather lovely. Their second album was 'alright'. Oasis were always basically a pub rock band,, and they ushered in an era of unremarkable, tedious pub rock bands like themselves.

I saw them when they did 'pay to play' on a Sunday night at The Boardwalk in Manc (I was behind the bar). They were unremarkable then, and remained so. I always liked Supersonic, but that was an aberration.

Were they green donuts, though? Because if they were, I'd dial 111 immediately

I agree entirely tbh. My answer came from my having observed the swaggering wanker over many years. I don't actually care what other folk think, my opinion is he's a classic ego driven tosser who doesn't give a toss about anybody save himself. In other guises he is Johnson, Farage, Mogg, even. Bleg.

I want to know the demographic breakdown. I get the feeling most kids* in the 'my own kids' generation voted Green (they're 18 & 20), so it might not only be the Palestinian genocide that lost them vote (and seats) but the climate crisis.
*those that didn't, probably didn't vote at all (wild guess).

Robinson is being ridiculously normal on R4, anyone would think the day job allowed him to go home at 9am and sleep for eight hours.

He's a prick who is fuelled only by his ego. Jeremy Corbyn is a great local MP, who always has been. The locals love him.

Now witness how little brilliant Carla and brilliant Sian get coverage for the 4 Green MP's, and how much waffle is spent on the Reform bastards.

I am horrified that I'm going to miss everything but I seem to have a 6imch screw being driven in to the front right of my skull and so I've got Nick Robinson et al burbling quietly on the radio, the eyemask is going on and hopefully unconsciousness will be be arriving shortly. Happy times by 4am!

Argh!
I can't believe this but I've just taken a knockout codeine dose and am going to sleep. Well, putting on my eye mask and the radio burbling away but no more empassioned Green PR from me tonight. 🙁

I wouldn't mind but I really don't like Mandelson. I have absolutely no doubt that Alistair bloody Campbell will turn up at some point too.

I'm just trying to work out what the hell parliament will be like with up to *13* of those Reform fucks in the HOC, alongside the Tories. Including that bottom feeder Farage. I mean, what will it do to the Tories?
