The correct 250w mid-drive motor kit has arrived, found another retailer selling them with good reviews & turned out to be cheaper too. Now to test it before fitting.

Part of the old Activity Feature Wall are these, unfortunately there's not enough room to fit them on new Activity Feature Wall. So now deciding if to put them all in smaller frames (similar to one on the far RHS) or make a compilation of them in one big frame. 🤔

Damn, it has been a hot & busy day at work & trying not to fall asleep now I'm home. But it's been a great day at work with lots of laughs & giggles with the customers & enjoyed the day. Gonna feel it tomorrow & feet are already aching from wearing new boots with proper support.

For years I've had to endure my folding cargo trailer's wheels loose & constantly falling over in walk-in cupboard in this & previous flat. Now I'm allocating space for the trailer by the Activity Feature Wall, I've built a holder for the wheels using scrap 2x4 timber.

Rest day today but really need to finish Activity Feature Wall, so just doing small bits & not rushing it. Had to work on the wall with filler as previous filler in some places has shrunk back a bit so need to redo the paint (all expected). Done panniers slightly different. 😊

So now fixed each cabinet individually on their own hanging rail so not put weight on one below. Reason they're like this is so there's a gap from them to the one on the floor, this is so I can just move floor cabinet out when I redo the floor which will raise the floor height & close the gap. 2/3

Well that's something I wasn't planning on doing today, I noticed the cabinets I put up few days ago were pulling away from the wall. My plan of hanging rail for one & to support the 2 stacked on top that were just screwed to the wall to stop them moving wasn't working. 1/3

So at 2am last night my brain worked out where my waterproofs were, I'd put them in my rack bag when I cycled from Asda last Friday to have more room for shopping in my panniers. Annoying I didn't think this sooner but don't care as still have my waterproofs & now hung where they should be.

Clean bedding put on the bed now the days of dusty DIY on the livingroom wall has been done, nice long shower with very warm jets of water on my lower back for a while & feel oh so much better & hopefully a decent night's sleep when I get there!! 😌

Gone around the flat collating everything to go on the Activity Feature Wall that had in previous flat & some new additions to add. Strangely 1 thing is missing (in a safe place) & no idea where I've put it, so will leave a space on the wall so to fix it to when found. 1/2

Fitted sockets so have charging point for ebikes & other USB devices. Need to fit shelf by the sockets to hold router & phone on. But seeing the relocation of the bikes to the corner of the room has definitely made room look bigger & lighter. Now to find more stuff for the wall.

Not doing much in the flat today, nothing too strenuous. Can see from doing the DIY that my disability is getting worse. Little over a year ago I was moving & did 2 weeks of packing & unpacking on my own & was exhausting but don't think I could do that now. 😩 1/2

Oh I love center stands. My latest one on e-Cruiser is just so useful. Not the cheapest but designed for cargo bikes & really stable. Will be adding one to my current eCargo bike project & a new smaller version designed for 20" wheeled bikes, like my folding eBike. 😁

That's it for now, 2nd part done & is what I wanted to do today. Tomorrow & Friday I can take my time to put rest of the fixtures up. The space in the corner is to place folding cargo trailer so it's easier access as stuck in the walk-in cupboard for past year.

1st coat done, really makes a difference! I do love this colour, such a bright, warm & vibrant colour. So pleased I could colour match the old paint that's discontinued. As for the girls, not a care in the world. 😂

Polyfiller not fully set, so using the time to work out bolt fixing holes for Roadrunner's hangers & wall plaque I couldn't find a place for properly until now. And when you have a drill bit too big for your power drill, you use your trusty hand drill. Good workout for your arms.

Onto the next piece to paint in the livingroom, was far more filling than expected as found sections not filled properly or at all from previos painting of the walls by previous tenant(s). Quick drink & then start painting the coving & skirting.
