I couldn't find a small trailer with a kickstand so I took one off a parts bike and attached it to my little 2 wheel trailer. it makes the trailer so much more useful, and easier to hook up. just have to remember to kick it up before taking off (not that I've done that many many times ๐)
that little aphorism about "the older you get the more you realize how little you know" is true and will hit you like a brick wall. despite what society says "I don't know" is an excellent response to any question. this should be followed up by "but I will find out". that's what's important.
There are a few companies that build accessories for hunting by bike. tbh, I can't imagine anybody else needing a trailer for hundreds of pounds of gear. the kickstand is the coolest part, though
This man is making his evil intentions as crystal-clear as they possibly could be, and everyone who cares about humanity should be blasting that message out in every possible venue.
The mainstreamโs collective refusal to respond to Heritage inciting anti-queer violence last summer showed them that they have free rein to threaten and commit violence.
Weโve had so many chances to stop this but so many people didnโt bother to notice because the first victims were queer.
Reminder: it is not doable to maintain a state of abject terror 24/7, so when your attention turns to something else, it doesnโt mean youโre sticking your head in the sand about the future. Right now, at this moment, you are (probably, if youโre reading this) safe, and your mind & body need a break.
The Supreme Court's right-wing supermajority didn't happen overnight.
This is the inside story of how Leonard Leo built a machine that reshaped the American judiciary and legal system.
At Dirt, Meghna Rao considers Ursula's original website: "Her old domain locates an important moment, in which a personal website could be more than just a banner ad for work or a case of trophiesโwhen it represented an attempt to translate something about the self into virtual space."
They're behind the school boards takeovers, the anti-trans moral panics, the CRT and DEI nonsense, the anti-abortion legislation. They're the fucking worst.
This is the group behind Moms for Liberty, the state house takeovers, coordinating the Proud Boys, and most of the disinformation about the border and about immigrants and asylum-seekers. They're also involved with the anti-Palestinian disinfo campaigns nationally and are connected to John Hagee.
Isn't it interesting that they're trying to frame themselves as initiating *that* war instead of the Civil War? Wannabe Confederates still don't like being called what they are. Probably because it reminds them they lost the first time.
Everyone else is focused, rightly, on the threat, so let me just remind you that it will not remain bloodless, whatever the left decides to do or not to do.
PSA: if you're talking about doing actual political violence on social media in public, you are a dangerously ignorant twerp who lacks the situational awareness required to do anything useful for anyone.
He's right. They're stealing the country from us and ending democracy. "Bloodless if the left allows it to be" is a threat to kill anyone who fights back
if anyone needs at least a basic anti-transphobe modlist, my old one is still available.
i am not adding to it anymore, but if someone wants to use this as a starting point for an active modlist or transphobia specific labeler they are welcome to:
