I read the novel, which was okay, but the movie seemed to be a cautionary tale about shutting up and following orders and never questioning anything or thinking for yourself, with anything even vaguely left wing being almost comically demonised. I though it was horrible. Horrible. .

I've noticed lately they're adding sugar to everything. Lots of traditionally savoury stuff now has added sugar that never had it before, 'cos it's so addictive. But crappy for us non sweet tooths.

And writing about a traditional politician's age is way easier than tackling the whole pathological liar, rapist, insurrectionist, felon, fascist thing. In most articles, that's all that's just fine and not even worth mentioning.
