I too have had Labour brain. I had it from 2013 to 2017 and I relapsed again in 2020, before getting out again in 2022. And I still vote Labour for Welsh elections. Perhaps Labour brain is never truly curable, only treatable by voting Lib Dem or Plaid or whoever at GEs.

Update: he just texted me to say that he didn’t vote Labour after all. First non-Labour vote in his entire life (he’s pushing 80). Proud of him ngl.

Sort of glad I live in a Labour safe seat so am free to vote for whoever I want. I've voted Labour in the past, but won't again. Not until they majorly get their shit together which I can't imagine will be any time soon.

I want so badly not to vote Labour because of the transphobia, but my area has been Conservative since 1974, and even though Labour are predicted to win, the Tories are still an extremely strong second. It’s not like they’re insanely behind. I’m too afraid to risk it. 😭
