This is like when my mom had to take my grandfather’s car away from him. He was furious. He couldn’t understand despite his significant physical problems. As we age, we’re blind to our decline. Biden, Trump, Phil, Feinstein, etc. It’s common but someone needs to step in.

My love of cycling is entwined with Phil’s commentating. He has an illustrious history. It’s a shame if his decline ends up staining people’s view of him, but I think that’s going to happen.
